Bet Dwarka to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Distance and Time
There are three driving routes, all beginning with the Sudarshan Setu crossing off the island onto NH51. The differences are small, so NH51 is the one to remember.

NH51 wins on both counts, 22.9 km and 39 minutes. The Internal Rd variant is nearly the same distance but a few minutes slower and the 27.1 km option is the longest, worth taking only if the direct highway is congested.
Which Route Should You Take?
Take NH51. It is the shortest, the quickest and the smoothest, a straight coastal highway run once you are off the bridge. Keep the two internal-road variants only as backups for heavy traffic near Okha or on festival days. On a normal morning, NH51 will always be your driver's default.
How to Travel from Bet Dwarka to Nageshwar
Start by crossing the Sudarshan Setu from Bet Dwarka island to Okha, then join NH51 toward Dwarka; Nageshwar sits a short way before the city. A private cab is the easiest option and lets the same driver wait through darshan at both shrines. Local buses and shared autos also run along this stretch for budget travellers. The whole hop takes well under an hour, so it fits comfortably into a Dwarka day.
About Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
Nageshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and among the most revered stops on the Dwarka circuit. The name is linked to Nagesh, the lord of serpents and to the old story of Shiva rescuing his devotee Supriya from the demon Daruka, which is why he is worshipped here as the protector who removes fear. The temple is easy to spot from the road thanks to a towering seated Shiva statue, around 80 feet high, that rises behind the shrine. Darshan is calm and grounding, a gentle contrast to the busier Dwarkadhish temple.

Gopi Talav: a peaceful sacred lake tied to the gopis of Krishna's legend, a short drive from Nageshwar.
Dwarkadhish Temple: the great Krishna temple in Dwarka city, a natural pairing after Nageshwar. Plan around your Dwarkadhish darshan.
Bet Dwarka itself: since you begin on the island, allow time for its temples before heading out. It is one of the top places to visit in Dwarka.
Best Time to Visit and Darshan Tips
October to March is the pleasant season on this coast. Nageshwar generally opens early morning and stays open into the evening, roughly 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM, though timings shift on festival days, so confirm before you go. Mondays, the month of Shravan and Maha Shivratri are especially auspicious here. How I Sequence These Two
My advice is to do Bet Dwarka first thing, cross back over the bridge and reach Nageshwar by mid-morning before the tour buses. The 39 minute drive on NH51 is easy and scenic, so there is no need to rush it. Give Nageshwar a slow darshan rather than a quick photo of the big statue, then carry on to Dwarkadhish for the day. Done in that order, you move from Krishna's island home to Shiva's shrine to Krishna's great temple without a single backtrack.
