Package overview
A clear, temple-first plan for your Somnath Dwarka trip
A 3 days 2 nights Somnath Dwarka package costs Rs. 10,000 per person at the 3 star tier, Rs. 20,000 at 4 star and Rs. 25,000 at 5 star, with hotel, breakfast and your vehicle included. Two nights is the shortest plan that gives both temples an evening and a morning: one night in Dwarka, one night in Somnath, and the 233 km coastal run on NH51 between them. It contains exactly one hard choice, and Experience My India will make you make it before you book rather than at 9:00 am on day two.

Trip highlights
- Rs. 10,000 per person for 2 nights at 3 star, vehicle included.
- Dwarka to Somnath is 233 km on NH51, 5 to 6 hours.
- Jay Somnath sound and light show runs 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm per the Shree Somnath Trust.
The fork: Bet Dwarka or the Somnath aarti
On day two you drive 233 km, which is 5 to 6 hours before any stops. Bet Dwarka is a half day: Okha, across Sudarshan Setu, the island darshan, and back. Somnath's Sandhya Aarti is at 7:00 pm and the Jay Somnath show runs 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm.
| Option | Day 2 looks like | You get | You lose |
|---|---|---|---|
| A. Bet Dwarka | Morning aarti, island, leave Dwarka around 13:00, reach Somnath 19:00 to 20:00 | Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar, the bridge | The 7:00 pm aarti. You arrive during the show or after it. |
| B. Somnath aarti | Morning aarti, Nageshwar, leave Dwarka by 09:30, reach Somnath by 15:30 | The 7:00 pm Sandhya Aarti, the full show, Vallabhghat at sunset | Bet Dwarka. |
You cannot have both. Here is the choice, stated plainly: Most families pick B on a first visit, because the Somnath evening is the emotional centre of the trip and the island can wait for a longer plan. Pilgrims completing the Krishna circuit pick A. Neither is wrong. Being told about it on day two is. If you want both, you want 4 days 3 nights. That is the entire difference the extra night buys. Next step: tell us A or B with your dates and we will build the day-wise around it.

Good to know on price
Rates are per person per night at Rs. 5,000, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 12,500, multiplied by your two nights. Vehicle follows group size, from sedan to a 26 seater tempo traveller.
General darshan is free at both temples. The Shree Somnath Trust accepts bookings and donations only through its own official website, never through private numbers or UPI. We will not handle that money for you.
Why choose Experience My India for a 3 day plan
- We make you choose the fork before you book. Option A or Option B is settled in writing, so day two is not an argument in a moving car.
- We hold the 7:45 pm show time, not the 8:00 pm most pages print. That fifteen minutes is the difference between the opening and the queue.
- A local Gujarat team. The people planning your route drive it.
- One number, answered by a planner. +91 7302265809 on call and WhatsApp.
- Timings verified in July 2026 against the temple trusts, and reconfirmed before departure.
- Cancellation and refund terms are on the cancellation and refund page, and booking terms on the booking policy page. More on us at about, our Gujarat team and methodology.
This plan is not for you if
- You want Bet Dwarka and the Somnath aarti. Read the fork again. Take the 4 day plan.
- You are flying in and out of Ahmedabad on days 1 and 3. The flight timings eat both ends and you are left with a 233 km drive in the middle. Add a night.
- You want Gir. A dawn safari needs its own night. See 5 days 4 nights.
- You want a slow trip. Two nights, two towns, 233 km. It moves.
Three days, two temples, one fork. Tell us A or B, your dates and your group size on +91 7302265809, and you get the day-wise plan and the rate for your tier.
