Two days contains roughly 20 usable hours once you subtract sleep. Dwarkadhish is shut from about 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Somnath’s evening aarti is at 7:00 pm and the Jay Somnath sound and light show runs 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Put those together and the answer is arithmetic, not opinion. From Ahmedabad, the drive alone eats 13 to 15 hours of your 20. From Rajkot, it does not, which is why this plan exists. - 18:30Gomti Ghat, the 56 steps down, and the flag on the shikhara that gets changed through the day.
- 20:00Dinner in Dwarka.
Day2Day 2Full Day|Temple Visits
- 06:30Mangala Aarti at Dwarkadhish. The quietest the temple gets and the reason we hold you here overnight.
- 08:30Drive to Okha and across Sudarshan Setu, the 2.32 km bridge that opened in February 2024. No ferry, no tide, no queue at the jetty.
- 10:30Bet Dwarka darshan, then back across the bridge.
- 12:30Nageshwar Jyotirlinga on the Dwarka to Okha road, which costs you no detour on the way back.
- 14:00Rukmini Devi Temple, then drop at Jamnagar or Rajkot.
The Somnath focus version runs the same logic in reverse around the 7:00 pm aarti and the 7:45 pm show. The transfer version gives Day 2 to the coastal run through Porbandar, and you get one darshan at the far end rather than two.

Good to know on price
Rates are per person per night, so one night is one multiple. Your vehicle is chosen by group size: sedan for 2 to 3, Ertiga for 4 to 5, Innova Crysta for 5 to 6, and tempo travellers from 9 seats to 26.
General darshan is free at both temples. The Shree Somnath Trust accepts room bookings, pooja vidhi and donations only through its own official website and never through private numbers, WhatsApp chats or UPI transfers. We will not take that money on your behalf.
