Package overview
A clear, temple-first plan for your Somnath Dwarka trip
A Somnath Dwarka tour package from Delhi is the one package on this site that includes your flight. The hard part of planning it from Delhi is the airport, because Delhi has no non-stop to Jamnagar, the airport nearest Dwarka, and flying into Ahmedabad leaves you 8 to 9 hours short. The answer is Rajkot: Delhi to Rajkot Hirasar is a two hour non-stop, and Rajkot is the most central airport for both temples. We fly you into the middle, meet you at the aircraft and run the circuit. The ground portion is fixed at Rs. 5,000 per person per night, so four days is Rs. 15,000 per person at 3 star with hotel, breakfast and vehicle, and with the return flight added the all-in is typically around Rs. 28,000 per person, quoted for your exact dates.

Trip highlights
- Somnath Dwarka from Delhi is the one package on the site with the flight in the price: ground fixed at Rs. 15,000 per person for four days at 3 star, all-in typically around Rs. 28,000 per person.
- Delhi's only non-stop into the circuit is Rajkot Hirasar, about two hours, not Jamnagar; Rajkot is the most central airport for both temples at 197 km from Somnath and 225 km from Dwarka.
- Flying into Ahmedabad from Delhi leaves you 8 to 9 hours short of Dwarka, and the Jamnagar route from Delhi needs a stop of roughly 19 hours.
The one decision that makes a Delhi trip: which airport
Planning this circuit from Delhi comes down to a single question that almost no package page answers. Which Gujarat airport do you fly into?
The instinct is Jamnagar, because it is nearest to Dwarka, about two hours from the temple. But Delhi has no non-stop to Jamnagar. That route is a one stop itinerary of roughly 19 hours once you count the layover, and it turns your first day into a travel day.
The other instinct is Ahmedabad, because it has the most flights. But Ahmedabad is 440 km from Dwarka, 8 to 9 hours by road, so you land in Gujarat and then spend most of a day driving out of it.
The right answer is the one in the middle.
Fly to Rajkot, the airport in the middle
Delhi to Rajkot Hirasar is a non-stop, about two hours, on Air India and IndiGo, with fares from around Rs. 6,500. Hirasar sits about 30 km outside Rajkot.
Rajkot is the most balanced airport on the whole circuit. It is 197 km from Somnath and 225 to 235 km from Dwarka, so both temples are a half day's drive rather than one being close and the other far. From Rajkot, Somnath is actually the nearer of the two.
So you fly non-stop into the centre of the circuit, we meet you at Hirasar, and the ground trip starts the same afternoon instead of after a long transfer. That is a genuinely shorter door to darshan time than the Jamnagar or Ahmedabad routes, and it is the routing this package is built on.
If you would rather start at Dwarka itself, we can send you through a Mumbai or Ahmedabad connection into Jamnagar and begin at Dwarka's doorstep, two hours from the temple. That adds a stop to the journey, and we lay the tradeoff out plainly before you choose.
What all inclusive means here, and what it costs
This is the one package class on the site with the flight in the price. We book the return Delhi to Rajkot flight, the hotels, the breakfast and the vehicle with driver for the full circuit, and you land to a car and a plan rather than a to do list.
The ground portion is fixed. Four days and three nights is Rs. 15,000 per person at the 3 star tier, Rs. 30,000 at 4 star and Rs. 37,500 at 5 star, GST included, with hotel, breakfast, vehicle, tolls, parking, fuel and the driver's food and stay all inside it.
The flight is the part that moves. Delhi to Rajkot non-stop starts around Rs. 6,500 each way and changes with the date and how early you book, so a four day all-in at 3 star typically lands around Rs. 28,000 per person. We quote the exact combined figure for your dates rather than a floor you cannot actually get.
Book earlier and the flight half falls. On Janmashtami and Diwali both halves rise, the ground rate up to threefold and airfares with it, so those dates are booked about three months ahead.
Day-wise itinerary
Day1Delhi to Rajkot by air, then into the circuitFull Day|Temple Visits
- morningNon-stop Delhi to Rajkot Hirasar, about two hours. We track the flight and meet you in the arrivals hall at Hirasar, about 30 km outside Rajkot.
- middayDrive begins. Because Somnath is the nearer temple from Rajkot at 197 km, a Rajkot arrival often runs the circuit Somnath first, and we set the exact order to your flight time and dates.
- eveningReach the first night's town, check in at your tier, and take the evening darshan or aarti that the arrival time allows.
- nightNight one on the circuit. The long Gujarat drive that the Ahmedabad route forces on you never happens.
Day2The middle of the trip, shared by every start cityFull Day|Temple Visits
Once you are on the circuit your start city stops mattering, so rather than reprint the same two days on every origin page we hand them to the plan that owns them. Two full days of Dwarka, Bet Dwarka across Sudarshan Setu, Nageshwar and the coastal run to Somnath through Porbandar, set out hour by hour on the four day plan. The full hour by hour version of both days sits on the four day plan. It is the same middle you are buying here. See /somnath-dwarka-tour-package/4-days-3-nights/
Day3Back to Rajkot, and the flight home to DelhiFull Day|Temple Visits
- morningThe last darshan of the trip, then the drive back toward Hirasar, timed to your flight.
- afternoonDrop at Rajkot Hirasar for the non-stop back to Delhi. We build the day around the departure so the temple morning is unhurried and the airport is still comfortable.
- eveningHome in Delhi the same day, no overnight travel either way.
Price by tier and nights

Good to know on price
Two parts, one quote. The ground portion is fixed per person per night. The return flight is added at the live fare and the combined figure is quoted for your dates.
All in note. The all-in figures assume a return Delhi to Rajkot non-stop from around Rs. 6,500 each way. Airfare moves with the date and the booking window, so we quote the exact combined number for your dates rather than hold you to an estimate.
Gst note. Every ground price here is final and includes GST. Nothing is added at checkout beyond the flight, which is shown to you at its actual fare.
Group and child. The ground rate is per person on twin sharing. In a group of about six the 3 star ground rate falls to around Rs. 4,000 per person per night on triple sharing, and to around Rs. 3,500 in a group of about twelve. A solo traveller pays the base plus Rs. 3,500 for the same services. Children under five travel free on the ground portion, and from five they are counted as an adult. Airfare is per seat at whatever the airline charges for the age.
Vehicle note. Group size picks the vehicle. Sedan for 2 to 3, Ertiga for 4 to 5, Innova Crysta for 5 to 6, 9 seater Tempo Traveller for 7 to 9, 12 seater Maharaja or Urbania for 10 to 12, 26 seater Tempo Traveller above that.
Included note. The package covers the return Delhi to Rajkot flight, the hotel at your tier, breakfast, the vehicle with driver for the full circuit, and all road tolls, parking, fuel and the driver's food and stay. You land to a car and a plan.
Five star honesty. No five star Taj or ITC property operates in Dwarka or in Somnath. In Dwarka the top tier puts you in The Fern Sattva Resort. At Somnath it buys the best room in town, named in your quote before you pay. Taj and ITC enter your plan only on the legs that reach them, which this circuit does not.
Blackout note. Two dates break this rate card. On Janmashtami and Diwali, ground demand can push prices up to three times these numbers and airfares climb with them, and we take a limited number of bookings made about three months ahead. If your travel lands on either, ask early and we will quote the real figure rather than a floor you cannot get.
Cancellation. We confirm a booking on 50 percent advance, and you pay the remaining 50 percent after you arrive, during the journey. The flight follows the airline's own fare rules, which we tell you before you pay. Cancellation, refunds and the payment schedule for the ground portion are set out in full on our cancellation and refund policy, and the booking terms sit alongside it. Read both before you pay.
Trust warning. The Shree Somnath Trust accepts pooja and donation bookings only through its own website and warns that it never asks for payment through private numbers, WhatsApp or UPI. Book sevas yourself at somnath.org.
Why choose Experience My India
- We name the airport most Delhi pages will not: the non-stop is to Rajkot, not Jamnagar, and Rajkot is the most central airport for both temples.
- One price, one booking. The return flight, the hotels, the breakfast and the car are all ours to arrange, so you land to a plan.
- We fly you into the middle at Rajkot, which is a genuinely shorter door to darshan time than the long Ahmedabad drive most operators route you through.
- We show the flight at its real fare and quote the combined figure for your dates. No estimate you cannot actually book.
- A local Gujarat team meets your flight and drives the circuit. One number, +91 7302265809, on call and WhatsApp.
- We reconfirm every timing and the flight before departure, because festival schedules and fares both move at Shravan, Janmashtami and Mahashivratri.
This trip is not for you if
- You only want the tour and will book your own flight. Then the Rajkot or Jamnagar land page is the honest fit, and this flight-inclusive page is more than you need.
- You insist on landing at Jamnagar non-stop from Delhi. That non-stop does not exist. The nearest airport to Dwarka is reachable from Delhi only with a stop, and we will not pretend otherwise.
- You want a single fixed all-in price months out regardless of the airfare. The ground half is fixed, the flight half moves, and an honest all-in is quoted per date rather than frozen.
- You want to fly in and do both temples in a day. From any Gujarat airport that is a rushed blur. Give it four days.
- You want a five star Taj in Dwarka. It does not exist, and anyone selling you one should be asked for the property name.
The one package with the flight in the price, and the one page that names the airport: fly non-stop into the middle at Rajkot, not the long way through Ahmedabad or the stop through Jamnagar. Ground fixed at Rs. 15,000 per person at 3 star, all-in typically around Rs. 28,000, quoted for your dates.
