The nearest airports to Gir are Rajkot, about 160 km away, Keshod, about 90 km away and Diu, about 110 km away, with Ahmedabad the major hub. Vadodara to Gir by bus

State-run GSRTC buses and private operators connect Vadodara with Junagadh and the towns near Gir, taking around 8 to 10 hours by road via Ahmedabad and Rajkot, from where a local transfer reaches Sasan Gir.
